If Sade and Bebel Gilberto or Marcela Mangabeira  had a baby Clarisse Albrecht would be it. I am so in love with this beautiful soul and her music. I bought this song soon after finding it on youtube and for the past few days I have been listening to it over and over because I find her voice so incredibly soothing.  

I’ve  included a very rough translation of the lyrics  in English so that those who don’t speak Portuguese can see appreciate how incredible this song is (granted my English translation is not half as fluid and poetic as the original Portuguese :p).

Other faves of mine from Clarisse include Você Me Da (You Give Me) and No Puedo Parar (spanish version of Não Posso Parar). Clarisse also has online campaign to help her fund her first complete album and you can  find Clarisse’s full bio on that page.
